BAHHHHH!
I cried. I practically cried. It hurts how much I want to go to this place and row the boats.
I'm convinced that living in such a proximity that an afternoon trip to Versailles is possible, is where I will ultimately be content. Nothing more, nothing less.

i just have to tell you that the versailles gardens are one of my absolutely favorite places in the world. in fact, they beat out nearly everything except for home and san chapelle. it's absolutely stunning and i want to go back so badly. rowing the boats are the best thing in the world.
I almost went to Versailles. We were in Paris, and were planning on going, but the workers were on strike & we didn’t go. I think by the time we would’ve been going, they weren’t on strike anymore but we had already made other plans. :(
Oh well, there’s always next time, right?
