la la love this tune.

Salut! No time for a very substantial post today, but I thought I'd drop by to let you all know that I still exist. I'm back from New York and drowning in all my late work due for end of term - tomorrow. Eek.

Photobucket
this is my anthropologie radio I was spoiled enough to get for my b-day? do you love it?

I don't know where I found this list or what it was for, but I thought it was interesting - and easily done - so I now present to you.... a list of songs according to said criteria!

1: a song i could listen to all day
NEOPOLITAN DREAMS - LISA MITCHELL

2: a song i could have written myself
ME AND YOU - SHE & HIM
(I have already determined myself not coordinated* enough to be a musician, but if I could write a song...?)
*singing while playing instruments all while having written poetic lyrics to match?*

3: a song from my favorite movie
AT THE CODFISH BALL - SHIRLEY TEMPLE
yep. i heart captain january. the end.

4: a song for dancing
THE CLAPPING SONG - SHIRLEY ELLIS
(gotta love those Shirley's)

5: a song i will never forget
HOME - EDWARD SHARPE & THE MAGNETIC ZEROS
it will also probably always be connected with road tripping to california this summer
which make me cry when i think of them because i miss them too much. i'm crazy, but that's fine.

6: a song for chilling out
SO-SO - BROOKE WAGONER

7: a song i listen to too often
BITTER HEART - ZEE AVI
tops my library with 423 listens on play count, uh...

8: a song from a short movie that i love very much
TO BE FREE - GUYLAINE VIVARAT

and I made up a nine...

9: a song for the upcoming holiday
COSTUME - THE MOLLIES
just saying. it's very fitting.

Please share your list of songs! I would love to know!

We are music twins!

I could listen to There Goes the Fear by...The Doves? [I think? Yes.] All day.

I could have written I Was Made For You by She & Him. It's wonderful. They're wonderful. Your blog is wonderful. Can't wait to hear about New York!!
